Jim Conroy was the campaign manager for Charlie Baker's 2018 reelection campaign. Baker currently serves as Governor of Massachusetts, and has the highest approval rating of any sitting governor in the United States. Conroy is a seasoned political operative, with campaign experience working at local, state, and national levels of government.
- Jim Conroy was raised in Old Saybrook, Connecticut.
- He earned his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University.
- His first campaign experience was working for Chairman of the Connecticut Republican Party, serving as his "jack of all trades," before moving on to work as a legislative aide in the Connecticut State Senate.
- Conroy then served as the Executive Director for the Connecticut Republican Party.
- From there, he moved on to the Republican National Committee during John McCain’s presidential run.
